Privacy Policy
The short version
- Inner Peace Meditations is part of Stillness in the Storms Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (number 15583050).
- We use a tiny amount of information to understand how people use the site. Nothing is sold or shared with advertisers.
- Analytics only loads if you accept cookies in the banner at the bottom of the page.
- If you contact Steven by email, we keep your message long enough to reply properly and no longer than we need to.
- You have rights over your data under UK GDPR. Email [email protected] to exercise them.
Who we are
Inner Peace Meditations is a podcast and website operated by Stillness in the Storms Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 15583050, with its registered office in Truro, Cornwall. The site is edited and maintained by Steven Webb. You can reach us at [email protected].
What we collect
We collect only what is needed to run the site well.
Server logs
Our web host records standard technical information for every visit: the page requested, the time, the browser type, and a truncated IP address. These logs are used to keep the site running and to defend against abuse. They are kept for a short period and then deleted.
Analytics (cookies, only with consent)
If you accept cookies, we load Google Analytics 4. That tool counts visits, shows us which meditations are listened to most, and helps us make the site better. Your IP address is anonymised before it is processed. We do not use analytics to identify you personally and we do not share the data with advertisers.
If you decline or ignore the cookie banner, no analytics cookies are set.
Emails you send us
If you email Steven, we receive your email address and whatever you put in the message. We keep correspondence for as long as it is useful for the ongoing conversation and delete it when no longer needed.
Donations
Donations are handled by Buy Me a Coffee and PayPal. Those platforms process your payment and send us a record of it. We do not see your card details. Please check those services' own privacy policies.
Third parties we use
- Captivate (podcast hosting) - serves our audio episodes. When you play an embedded meditation, Captivate sees your IP address and user agent.
- Insight Timer and Aura - also host Steven's meditations, but on their own platforms. If you listen there, their privacy policies apply, not ours.
- Google Fonts - serves the Nunito Sans typeface.
- Google Analytics 4 - optional, only with consent.
- Buy Me a Coffee and PayPal - for donations, on their own sites.

Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to ask us what data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to limit how we use it, and to move it. You can also object to processing or withdraw consent at any time. Email [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Children
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, please let us know and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
If we change anything important we will update this page and move the "last updated" date.
