About

No incense. No mountaintop. Just a few quiet minutes.

Steven Webb, smiling, outdoors on an autumn day

Inner Peace Meditations is a library of short guided meditations for minds that won't be quiet. Most are around ten minutes. None of them ask you to become a different person.

I am Steven Webb. In 1991, at eighteen, I dived into a swimming pool and broke my neck. I have been paralysed from the chest down ever since. Meditation did not fix my life. It changed how I meet it. The pain, the noise, the four in the morning thoughts.

I record these the way I practise them: plainly, honestly, and without pretending the mind ever goes fully silent. You do not need any experience. You do not need to sit in any special way. You just need a few minutes and somewhere you will not be interrupted.

Where to start

Start with the latest meditation, or browse the whole library and pick whatever matches your day: morning, sleep, anxiety, gratitude, or simply settling down.

I also make Stillness in the Storms, a spoken podcast for hard times, and write one honest email a week called Weekly Calm.
