Guided, ten affirmations, no build up. Music underneath
For the days you feel you are not enough. Ten short lines, said plainly, no build up. The last one is the title.
About 14 minutes with Steven Webb's calm voice.
Three lines for self-compassion, three for inner strength, four for your own worth. You say each one after me and try to feel it as already true, today and yesterday and next year. It closes with a hand on your heart. May I be happy. May I be well. May I be loved.

Who this is for
The days you feel you are not enough. Or short on inner strength, or short on any kindness towards yourself.
Ten short lines, said plainly. The last one is the title.
What happens in this meditation
You settle, notice the breath without touching it, and let the body go. Then one more sweep from the top of your head to your toes.
Then three sets of lines. You say each one after me, and try to feel it as already true, today and yesterday and next year.
Self compassion first. I forgive my past mistakes. I treat myself with kindness and compassion. It is alright to rest and recharge.
Then inner strength. I trust my own wisdom. I have the power to overcome any challenge. I define my own success.
Then your worth. I am worthy of love, happiness and respect. I am strong, capable and resilient. I accept and love myself unconditionally. Today and always, I am enough exactly as I am.
It closes with a hand on your heart. May I be happy. May I be well. May I be loved.
How to get the most from it
Fourteen minutes, and the whole thing rests on feeling the lines rather than reciting them.
If one of them will not go down, do not fight it. Say it anyway and move on. The ones that stick are usually the ones worth coming back to.
Doing this a few times a week does more than doing it once and deciding it did not work.
Questions people ask
Do affirmations actually do anything?
Said once, not much. Felt in the body, repeated over weeks, they change what your subconscious keeps offering you. That is why I ask you to feel them.
What if I do not believe them?
Then say them and notice the disbelief without arguing with it. Nobody starts out believing these. The believing comes later and it comes quietly.
Is this a good one for a bad morning?
It is one of the best I do for that, because it asks nothing of you but listening and repeating.
